Shouting change Okowa is not enough APC needs improvement in Leadership style and project a well organized grassroot mobilization. Delta 2019 is never a work over either for APC or PDP. Whosoever that must win must do all the needful or ready to be knocked out. Shouting change allover Facebook, WhatsApp and other social media with thousands of like is not a yardstick to win Delta 2019.
from the just concluded Anambra Governorship election shows that "the incumbent government or governor" has 20% advantage or influence on the outcome of every election conducted under his/her watch even if the election is free and fair as the case may be. The performance of any incumbent governor going for second terms also counts. A well performed governor on his/her first term in office is more advantageous ahead of any contender or opposite. That was the case of Governor Willie Obiano of the APGA in just concluded Anambra 2017.
What then is the case of Gov. Okowa of Delta State?Gov Okowa is 20% ahead of any contender, as a result of him being an incumbent governor of Delta and He can influence the outcome as the case might be. In terms of performance, which is 40% of an incumbent governor is seriously lacking in Okowa and gives more edge to APC to win Delta 2019 if it is well managed without selfish interest.APC CAMPAIGN will dominate on Okowa weakness, which is felt by all Deltans.
Since Gov. okowa don't want to make history like our brother GEJ, He won't give APC free hands to that effect. As such the battle will not be easy for APC. The only way that will make it easy for APC, is only when the right candidate is picked as the flag bearer. Change is what is constant and you cannot change, the change cause the change himself is dynamic like education. change is never outdated that needs to be changed as been clamoring by the PDP.
If APC desires to win in 2019? all hands must be on the desk, self and selfishness must be put aside. The APC primary election must be free and fair. Delegates must not be fed with money against the interest of the masses. Those who will lose in the forthcoming primary election must take the bull by the horn and never tries to eat their vomit like Fred Latimor. Even if you lose, don't decamp to any other party. Victor Ogboru or Otega or Osoibe is victor for all APC and Deltans at Large.
